Yesterday at church Tyson became a Sunbeam. He was so excited to get out of Nursery and go to the Primary, (for anyone reading this that isn't LDS that is where the bigger kids go to learn about our church. They go to an actual class and have singing time and lessons.) He is getting so big, I just want him to stay little forever, but then another part of me is loving the growing up stages and milestones. His teacher, Brother Campbell made them name tags and Tyson learned about what CTR stands for (Choose The Right) and he has been talking all about how he can be a good boy and choose the right. It is just amazing to me at how grown up he has become. Like the other night, he fell asleep on the couch and I went to pick him up and put him into bed. WHOA!! The kid weights a ton! He is taller than I had anticipated and I darn near tripped over his dangling legs as I walked down the hall. Somewhere between moving to Michigan and me having Taryn he just grew up. SNIFF SNIFF..... But the good part about the whole growing up thing is that he is one BIG helper when it comes to the house and Taryn. Tyson is an excellent Mopper and cleaner and knows all about helping dress and change Taryn, for which I am grateful for.
Cute little kids. Tyson wanted to show off his hand puppet he made.Tyson picked out this dress for Taryn as his Christmas gift to her. She looked dang cute in it yesterday. The hair still sticks straight up in the air....I don't know what to do with it, except to just let it go.Daddy's girl. And she is! She loves Vaughn and will only smile for him. I can play and play with her trying to get out a smile and he comes into the room and her little face lights up. It is too adorable! I was a daddy's girl as well so it doesn't surprise me she is too. Vaughn has been such a big help this holiday vacation. He had about 3 weeks off and it was so nice to have an extra hand around the house. He is the best dad and husband, and I just love him so much! He had to go back to his rotations today. He started OB/GYN and is excited to get it started. We are now officially 4th year medical students. YAHOO!!!! Almost done and I cannot believe how the time has flown by. Vaughn has already signed up to take Step 2 in May and July, and has 3 more shelf exams and then he is done with tests for a while. Then comes the interviewing and residency part. WOW!!! It just keeps getting better and better.I am terrible I know......but I couldn't resist! She makes the funniest faces and this one had a little help from me. HA HA HA Enjoy the laugh.
