This little walking toy used to be Tyson's. We decided it was time to get it out for Taryn and see what she did with it. She dances to the music and then walks mock 90 down the hall. Enjoy the laugh.

Porter's Cider Mill

At the mill they had a little play area for the kids and even though it was raining outside, they were all about playing on the train.
After seeing how the cider was made, they took us for a tour outside, in the rain, to see the farm animals. I always laugh at how city folk get a kick out of seeing chickens and horses and such. I guess the reason I think it is funny how they go crazy to get pictures of them is because I grew up around these types of animals my whole life, and to me it is just another chicken. HA HA.
We picked us some great pumpkins and then we rode the hay wagon back to the cider mill where we were treated to hot apple cider and fresh home made donuts. They were yummy. It was fun to spend a day, just Tyson and I. Thanks Vaughn for taking the day off to watch Taryn. Tyson and I enjoyed the rainy day and the treats.Posted by Jackson's at 12:02 PM 0 comments
Why I Love Fall In Michigan

I've seen it written somewhere that"Autumn is the painting of God's Masterpiece upon the Earth", I totally agree. These pictures are one of the reasons I love it here in Michigan. The falls are so breathtakingly beautiful. I had never seen trees so vibrant and colorful till I came here. Enjoy the pictures.Posted by Jackson's at 11:52 AM 1 comments
Fall Picture Taking
The other day the sun decided to peak out of the clouds for a few hours and I jumped at the chance to take some outside pictures of the beautiful fall leaves with the kids. I even went so far as to get out the tripod and take a picture of the three of us. I am no major photographer, but me and my little Casio camera do ok!
Tyson loves to pose in the pictures. He is so handsome. Just love ya buddy. The trees are just beginning to change in their fall colors. I will post more pictures of them later. It was fun to just get out of the house and take random pictures of the kids all over the place. Two minutes after we took this picture, the rain began to fall in a down pour. At least we got a few pictures before it drenched us.

A Laughing Matter
This is a daily occurrence in our lives. Tyson does something and Taryn laughs at him. I am only sorry that you miss hearing one of her screaming fits. (I will try to get that on video and upload it) She, for some reason or other, thought that Tyson's tent was funny. Our lives have pretty much got a routine and not much has deviated from that routine. Vaughn goes to the hospital and we don't see him until the evenings; Tyson goes to school Monday, Wednesday and Fridays and then to the library for story time on Tuesdays; Taryn is just growing and growing many, many teeth in her little mouth and goes with mom walking in the mornings to the mall while Tyson is at school; and me, well I just follow everyone else.
We haven't had any thing crazy or exciting happen for a while and I am not quite sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing. We did apply for residency programs and are now just waiting to hear back for interviews.......I am not patient for waiting, I want to know NOW!!I have one of the best husbands ever! The other morning I was so tired from the lack of sleep the night before (Taryn is teething and not sleeping and therefore neither am I), Vaughn got up when the kids did and took them in the living room and watched cartoons while I got a needed hour of sleep. This is the video he took of the kids.

Taryn has the best faces around. She is constantly pulling these BIG cheesy grins and she get a laugh from us every time she shows all those 11 teeth.
